New Samsung Windows Phone handset pictured ahead of MWC unveiling

Circulating under the codename ‘Huron’, the upcoming Samsung Windows Phone handset looks set to make its first formal appearance at MWC 2014later this month, although leaked images have already shown off its SamsungGalaxy S4 inspired body.
As well as marking Samsung’s return to the Windows Phone market, which is currently dominated by Nokia-branded devices, the Samsung Huron looks set to be one of the first smartphones to come pre-installed with the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update.
“Windows Phone 8.1 powered Samsung SM-W750V “Huron” for Verizon Wireless,” the serial Twitter-based tech tipster @evleaks stated alongside its tease of the Samsung Windows Phone image.
Looking markedly similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4, a handset expected to be superseded by the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the coming weeks, the Korean manufacturer’s next WP handset has been shown sporting a narrower but taller physical home button that the S4.
What’s more, this rejigged control has been shown to be adorned by the Windows logo.
Earlier this week further @evleaks teases offered early details on the upcoming Windows Phone device, stating the handset would look “very similar to a late model Galaxy S.”
